Step 134: The Liar’s Paradox

“Accept what is.  Release what was.  Create what must BE.”  ~Andrea Balt

The Liar’s Paradox (Sutherland Careers)

What is it? More famously known as the Epimenides paradox, this is one of the oldest known paradoxes having been first suggested circa 600BC.  Greek Philosopher Eubulides of Miletus postulated “A man says that he is lying.  Is what he says true or false?”  The basic premise of this paradox is – “This statement is false.”

Wait, What?  If “This statement is false” is true, then “This statement is false” is true.  Therefore “This statement is falsemust be false.  The hypothesis that “This statement is false” is true leads to the conclusion that “This statement is false” is false, which is a contradiction.

To put it in simpler terms, I will assign the coefficient of (A) to the statement “This statement is false” which gives us:

If (A) is true, then (A) is true.  Therefore (A) must be false.  The hypothesis that (A) is true leads to the conclusion that (A) is false, which is a contradiction.  Think that is confusing?  We are just getting started!

All is well! ❤

Step 78: All Things Equal

“Dying is a wild night and a new road.”  ~Emily Dickinson
Momentum Rising.  Spiritual Medicine.  Open Road.  Turn of the wheel.  Seasons change.  Moments and Milestones. God isn’t coming down from the mountain to save anyone – but God has invited everyone to “climb the mountain – because the view is awesome AF.”  All that is ever asked of humans is to just show up for life – because – whether we can see it or not – Life shows up for us everyday.  Today is a good day to start living!  Show Up!  All is well!  ❤

Step 63: The Death of Fake Truth

“The world is full of lonely people afraid to make the first move.”  ~Green Book – Movie

Unspoken.  Body Language.  Observe.  Rewind.  Review.  Rethink.  Water is the most powerful force on Earth.  It can smooth sharp edges and flows through and around anything that tries to stand in its way.  Without tension there will be no movement. Don’t want to NOT GO.  Cosmic Wake-Up Call – the Collective Unconscious is awakening.  Truth or Lies?  What do you believe?  What’s real?  Avoid hyperbole.  Learn from the past – integrate hard-earned-wisdom.  Take a deep breath – exhale slowly – Delete the past.  We begin again.  All is well.  ❤

Step 40: Exhale

“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”  ~Albert Einstein

The Mind fears any death to Ego.  The Soul needs variety to have a full Earth-time experience.   Do not be surprised over the next few days if you get “triggered.”  The question is a) what is being triggered and b) what’s the “take-away” from this experience?  Be honest with Self, be kind to everyone and above all – have compassion for ALL experiences.  The question for today is – “what is my Soul wanting to experience?”  All is well!  ❤

Step 22: Little things…..

“This is a solo journey.  Do not look outside yourself or depend on others to do the work for you.  You can do this.”  ~I-Ching #62

The hardest addiction for a human to break is the addiction to suffering.  While the “MIND” begins “drying out” from its “suffering,” take baby steps and know that everything is right on time.  It can’t be any other way, can it?  Otherwise, we wouldn’t be “right here – right now.”  See?  The Ego uses “doubt AND fear” to try to take back control of “fearless steps.”  Doubt AND fear are the most reliable indicators that major growth is occurring – yep, you’re onto to something greater than Ego.  Be gentle with self and others, be kind to self and others.  Grace arrives, just in the nick of time.  Pay attention to details.  Grit prevails!  All is well! ❤
