What is it? More famously known as the Epimenides paradox, this is one of the oldest known paradoxes having been first suggested circa 600BC. Greek Philosopher Eubulides of Miletus postulated “A man says that he is lying. Is what he says true or false?” The basic premise of this paradox is – “This statement is false.”
Wait, What? If “This statement is false” is true, then “This statement is false” is true. Therefore “This statement is false” must be false. The hypothesis that “This statement is false” is true leads to the conclusion that “This statement is false” is false, which is a contradiction.
To put it in simpler terms, I will assign the coefficient of (A) to the statement “This statement is false” which gives us:
If (A) is true, then (A) is true. Therefore (A) must be false. The hypothesis that (A) is true leads to the conclusion that (A) is false, which is a contradiction. Think that is confusing? We are just getting started!
“Showing that they don’t care about me, or caring that I should know they don’t care about me, still denotes dependence. They show me respect precisely by showing me that they don’t respect me.” ~Soren Kierkegaan
August 2017 – Do you remember your priority-dream-goal-vision? How has the focus changed – and – what is the current priority-dream-goal-vision? It’s called “re-organizing perception.” Love is a word – until you give it meaning. Hate is a word – until you give it meaning. Miracle is a word – until you give it meaning. Would you allow someone to look out for your best interests when they’ve already proven they only look out for themselves? Love – Hate – Miracle. Karma is NOT a “Cosmic Debt.” It’s the ability to experience Life from ALL SIDES! Words have power. Be AWARE! All is well! ❤
“It is often tragic to see how blatantly a man bungles his own life and the lives of others yet remains totally incapable of seeing how much the whole tragedy originates in himself, and how he continually feeds it and keeps it going. Not consciously, of course—for consciously he is engaged in bewailing and cursing a faithless world that recedes further and further into the distance. Rather, it is an unconscious factor which spins the illusions that veil his world. And what is being spun is a cocoon, which in the end will completely envelop him.” ~C.G. Jung
Articulating feelings and/or emotions is not always easy. How does one articulate that which we cannot make sense of? It’s hard enough with “external other” – but communicating with “inner other” takes time and patience. We have no frame of reference. Discernment reveals Truth. When faced with confusion the question is – “who are you and what do you want?” While you wait for the answer – it’s good to remember that laughter is the good medicine. Ask “meaningful” questions. All is well! ❤
The picture above is a testament to Human cooperation – a picture of the 1st Black Hole. Read about it here!
“Convergence – (n) – the act of moving toward union; coordinated movement of the two eyes so that the image of a single point is formed on corresponding retinal areas; independent development of similar characters (as of a bodily structure of unrelated organisms or cultural traits) often associated with similarity of habits or environment.”
Let’s celebrate our mistakes. “I AM the meaning in my life.” Reality checkpoint. Hypothesis or Hypocrisy. Substance or Illusion. Ideal or Practical Reality. Rams and Goats. Insecurity creates doubt. Molehills can turn into mountains. We are each tasked to now work at a pace that is required – not easy in the best of times. Healing starts with self-forgiveness. The question is “which pieces do I pick up” in the aftermath of Humpty-Dumpty’s great fall? Avoid myth. Investigate. Make no assumptions. Balance – Balance – Balance. We’re right on time. Let’s look out for one another. All is well. ❤
“What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as who you become by achieving your goals.” Thoreau
Where do you feel “pressured” to fit in? Expansion – Contraction – Transformation. Point of Balance. Spirit experiences life in the Sacred Temple called “my body.” When emotions gain momentum – managing impulsive/compulsive actions becomes difficult – especially when it’s emotions that have been suppressed. Emotions are usually attached to another human being. For today – take a good long hard look at relationship attachments. Be totally honest with Self. Life is lived one day at a time. Be your own Witness. Forgive Self when forgiving others. For those trying to “let go” or “cut the cord” – try the following. Sit still – get quiet inside.
Repeat several times each day for the next 28 days:
“I release (first and last name) unto God. He/She is in his/her true place at all times. I am free, and he/she is free. I now decree that my words go forth into Infinite Mind and it brings it to pass. It is so.”
Decoct – (v) to extract the flavor of by boiling. Boil down, concentrate. ~Merriman-Webster
One of the hardest things for the Ego to “accept” is that the Soul has a Vision for its Earth-Walk. Reach beyond the “Known.” Chaos alerts us to coming changes. We are Imagineers. Re-Imagine. What happens when an Unstoppable Force meets and Immovable Object? The answer arrives this weekend. Detach from the drama – nothing is as it appears. America has arrived on the doorstep of its “wake-up” call – for BOTH sides of the fence. All is well. ❤
