Step 171: The Long Slow Dance

“Before I die, I want to ____________.”   Sun stands still – Summer Solstice – longest day – shortest night in the Northern Hemisphere.  We begin our descent into the Darkness after reaching the peak.  Bodies are born – we are not.  Bodies die – we do not.  We cycle through the Seasons and call it “my Life.”  The Unconscious is waking upSome are disappointed.  Some are conflicted.  Some gain clarity.  Some find resolution.  Return to “my” Core.    For today – no matter what – embrace and lean in. Resisting prolongs pain.  Seeds planted last Fall are going to begin blooming.  Asking “WHY” is the first step to surrendering to the Intelligence of the Heart.  Once a body dies – the Mind disappears – it’s a construct created by “my brain” to help “me” function as an Earthwalker.  “Lions and tigers and bears – oh my!”  Question everything! There is a Hope and/or a Dream – but it will require long-term-commitment.  How far do you want to go – how much are you willing to risk? Stretch your body – stay hydrated – get out in Nature and laugh out loud (at least once) today!  You can save yourself – Be your own Shero!  Be kind. Have compassion. Look into a stranger’s eyes.  All is well!  ❤

Step 157: Top of Mind Awareness

“Humans punish themselves endlessly for not being what they believe they should be.”  ~ Don Miguel Ruiz

Beliefs change – while facts remains the same.  Advertisers spend billions of dollars researching how to “get into our head-space.”  They understand that – at any given moment – only 1% of the population is in need of their products/services.  By advertising endlessly – the premise is that when you NEED it – you will “remember” them.  They understand that the human brain MUST be exposed to a message a minimum of 3x before it registers something new.  It takes another 3-4x of hearing the same message before the “Mind” will “take action.”  For today – “lightening in the Heart” brings recognition of a new Truthone that’s been present all along – but it had not risen to “Top of Mind” status.  It’s the 7th time we’ve been exposed to the message and it’s called “sudden realization.”   Something needs to be communicated.  Allow others to react as they are going to – without trying to control how they perceive the “message.”  Be Mindful – be kind – be aware.  Be your own Shero – you’ve got this!  All is well!  ❤

Courage and faith come in handy when addressing differences in Values.  The good news is that it’s never too late to make a change.  Do not pity others it sends a signal that there is no hope or opportunity for self-bettermentUse common sense – NOT rigid thinkingValue is based on an meaning assigned by each of us.  Love is only a word until we give it meaning. Fear IS a visitor in the nervous systemFear FEAR’S itself.  Just because Fear appears within does NOT mean “it’s my fault – something’s wrong – or – I have failed.”  Witness Fear – instead of attacking “Self.”  For today – allow Love to EMBRACE Fear!  All is well!    ❤

Step 88: Sunday Blessings

When we’re hungry or feel like we’re starving – we’ll gorge on what’s in front of us.  We end up overstuffed – undernourished – dissatisfied.  The Soul needs HIGH quality food.  When the Soul detoxes it sheds old thoughts, feelings, pain and struggle. Old memories are departing the Soul. Where am I out of integrity?

  1. What’s chronic, repetitive or inflamed in my inner or outer life?
  2. Where am I not feeling what I feel – knowing what I know – saying what I believe or doing what feels most right?
  3. What would radical simplicity look like for me?
  4. How do I keep it lean and clean? 
  5. What needs to be cleaned up so I can be free to do and offer my best work in the world?
